Gav: Yeah. I just got through talking to my advisor. My funding's been canceled so now I have to work for free!

Danny: Can she do that?
Gav: Unfortunately, yes! I can't just start over on a new thesis! I've already put in eighteen months on my thesis topic so far!

Danny: Speaking of which, what IS your thesis topic?
Gav: Crap, I was going to ask you. I can't remember - I've just been surfing the web for eighteen months.
